Performances are tailor made to each event and can be altered to function either as a staged performance or on the floor amongst guests.

With the option of either two or three 45 minute sets, BALKAN EXPRESS can performed by a minimum 2,
maximum 5-piece line-up. Performances can be made
completely acoustic for intimate locations, or semi or
fully amplified for large festivals and functions.

Performance sets of flexible length and energy,
combinations of music and dance can be individually designed for your function. Special requests of certain music
pieces may be included.

The experience may be enriched with the addition of our
Balkan Romani dancer, Linda Gjojgeva Toteva, who performs Gypsy Romani dances and can lead guests into a Balkan Ceilidh. A Balkan Ceilidh, is a set of line and circle dances, which both guarantee audience participation as well as a vivid memory for all guests as they are introduced to a new fun, new cultural experience.
An event with BALKAN EXPRESS guarantees to be hugely interactive for each guest, as everyone is invited to participate and learn Balkan style barn dances. Supported by vibrant tunes and melodies courtesy of a five-piece live band, Linda Gjojgeva Toteva, London’s only Romani dance performer with authentic Balkan Romani roots, leads guests in learning Balkan style barn dances.
